During parts I and II of the
Laser Symposium our faculty will discuss the spectrum of laser,
light, plasma and radiofrequency therapies. The discussions

as which devices are "tried and true" when it comes
to ablative and non-ablative resurfacing, photo-rejuvenation,
skin tightening, hair removal, and "fat burning".
At the conclusion of the symposium,
Dr Rox Anderson will discuss where the next "breakthrough"
in laser surgery will occur and the obstacles encountered in
getting there.
Please join our "world class" faculty as they critically
and candidly share their wealth of experience.

CONTROVERSIES
Controversies in Laser Medicine
|
Join Drs. Rox Anderson, J. Stuart
Nelson and our faculty for an open and frank discussion of "hot
topics" in laser medicine.
1. Are there any treacherous
(untrustworthy, difficult to control, high risk of side effects)
devices and procedures?
2. Are there any essentially, useless devices and procedures?
3. What are the most common mistakes you see "out there"
in laser dermatology practice?
4. What skin responses do you look for that correlate with efficacy,
and which others do you look for that are a warning?
5. What are the best indications and worst contra- indications
for using flash lamps (intense pulsed light, IPLs) and when if
ever, are they significantly better than a laser?
6. Is it ever appropriate to treat congenital nevi with lasers?
If so, what are your criteria?

During this session, open microphones will be available and the
conference attendees are encouraged to participate in Q &

TRAINING SESSIONS
Toxins and Fillers by product
(Ticket Required)

During the small group training
sessions our faculty will conduct small group training sessions
with specific toxins and fillers in each session. Sessions will
include both "beginner" and "advanced" training
sessions. These sessions are designed to demonstrate techniques
that are specific to each product and/or selected treatment areas.
Because of the nature of these
"intimate" settings, space is very limited and ticketed
registration will be required. In all didactic sessions and in
model demonstrations, off-label uses of products will be discussed
in the context of medical education.
