Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of the meeting participants are expected
to:
- Learn some of the most recent advances in the diagnosis and
treatment of adult and pediatric medical dermatology problems
- Learn about the latest advances in laser surgery
- Learn about treatment options, including Botulinum Toxin
A, filler substances, and lasers, for the aging face
- Learn about the use of biologics and non-biologic alternatives
in the treatment of psoriasis
- Learn about management strategies and treatment options in
Melanoma
- Learn about the pathogenesis and treatment options in melasma
and vitiligo
- Review current concepts in the immunology of dermatologic
diseases necessary to facilitate a better understanding of the
medical literature
- Discuss practice problem issues with faculty in the intimate
and informal meeting setting
- Learn about the most recent advances in the diagnosis and
treatment of bacterial, fungal and viral skin disorders
Expected Outcome:
To improve the knowledge base of the practicing dermatologist,
physician, physician assistant and nurse in order to be better
able to treat patients.
